News: Marriott signs on for $600m Bethesda headquarters

Marriott International has signed a letter of intent with a joint venture between The Bernstein Companies and Boston Properties to develop its new corporate headquarters and hotel project in downtown Bethesda. The selected site is located at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue, at the corner of Wisconsin and Norfolk Avenues and spans two-blocks to the south and one block west to Woodmont Avenue, just a short walk from the Bethesda Metro station.

Gatwick Airport prepares for terminal swap

Gatwick Airport is advising British Airways, easyJet, and Virgin Atlantic passengers to check through which terminal they will be travelling, as it prepares to relocate these major airlines. British Airways will move to the South Terminal, Virgin Atlantic will move to the North Terminal, and easyJet – which currently operates out of both terminals – will consolidate its operation in the North Terminal.
