News: Norwegian Bliss to homeport in Miami for winter 2018

Norwegian Cruise Line announced earlier that Norwegian Bliss, the brand’s sixteenth ship, will set sail for the cruise capital of the world after her inaugural summer season in Alaska, to seasonally homeport in Miami in winter 2018. Beginning on November 17th, 2018, Norwegian Bliss will sail seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises each Saturday from PortMiami, featuring calls in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands and Nassau, Bahamas.

Lufthansa to roll out Wi-Fi on short-haul flights

Send emails from a height of 32,808 feet, shop online while soaring over the Alps, stream videos above the clouds – and all of that with broadband quality. Soon, passengers of Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines will be able to go online on shorter journeys too – as they have already been able to do for quite some time on long haul flights.

News: Jeju Air places $300m Boeing 737-800 order

Boeing and Jeju Air announced an order today for three Next-Generation 737-800s. The order, valued at nearly $300 million at current list prices, will become the airline’s first direct-purchased airplanes from Boeing and fuel the airline’s continued expansion within Asia’s rapidly growing air travel market.

Cornwall Airport adds Cork flights for summer 2017

Cornwall Airport Newquay has announced another development within its route network just one week into 2017, confirming that Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, will launch a new connection to Cork. Set to commence on May 6th, the twice-weekly seasonal service will utilise the carrier’s 72-seat ATR-72, adding 35 flights to CAN’s summer schedule.
